BAOS: Beer & Other Shhh Podcast

Dec 18, 2019

Arguably the single most fun - and most infuriating - thing about creating content for the internet is the sheer unpredictability of it all. You never truly know what people will enjoy, so you give it your best and hope and pray that your audience is into it. We knew Rainhard were popular, Jordan Rainhard had been a lauded member of the homebrewing scene in Toronto, so for him to finally open his own brewery was kind of a big deal. But we couldn't have picked that he'd make it to No. 2.

The chat was super organic; both Jordan and Jeremy, along with their team who helped us set up, made us feel super comfortable from the moment we walked in the door, the beers were all hits, and the conversation was genuine and eye-opening. We especially loved that he hired his mother to help him out, keeping it in the family. Enjoy our second most downloaded episode of all time!

The Greater Toronto Area (GTA) boasts so many breweries that even folks as prolific as us have trouble getting around to them all. Rainhard Brewing, located in the Stockyards aka Aleyards District, has been evading us for a while now but we finally made it down to the spacious, welcoming warehouse-style location to hang out with award-winning owner/founder/namesake Jordan Rainhard and Sales Manager Jeremy to run through some of their fine brews and chat about their upcoming 4 year anniversary event. Cheers!

Beers Reviewed: Rainhard Kapow! IPA; Rainhard Lazy Bones; Rainhard Rage And Love (Key Lime & Black Lava Salt); Rainhard Daywalker; Rainhard Sweetback’s.
