BAOS Top 10 | #3 | #95 Lactocalypse with Noah Forrest (Beerism)

We've mentioned that we've been surprised by a lot of the top episodes, but this wasn't one of them. In keeping tabs on our downloads throughout the year, we noticed this episode consistently hovering in the Top 3, so for it to end up here feels just right. For those who don't know, Noah is a great friend of the podcast, he's featured on numerous episodes and this was arguably the most fun to date.

 

The TL;DR is that we represent #TeamLactose and Noah is staunchly in the #TeamNoLactose camp, so what better guest to host for a milkshake IPA episode than someone so vehemently against them? This was shot on a hot July day in 2018, we got through 6 lactose beers back to back by the pool, and had a ton of fun talking all sorts of nonsense. Get some milk sugar in ya.

The last time we had Noah on the podcast was back on Episode #55, and the day we recorded this was a year to the day we recorded his first appearance - so we knew this was meant to be. We have a group chat with fellow beer writers, YouTubers and Instagrammers where we debate the virtues (and otherwise) of lactose in beer, so we figured we'd settle it once and for all with a lactosravaganza of epic proportions.
