Blending barrel-aged beer is truly an art, and for the first time we dedicated an entire podcast episode to it. Max Bergeron from Quebec City's BG Brasserie Urbaine, who creates some of the best barrel-aged, blended beers in the province, and Noah Forrest of Beerism joined Cee to get down to the tiny details on barrel-aging and blending barrel-aged beers. They got into how to brew specifically for barrel-aging, the different approaches to blending, and the differences between stouts and sours. They popped open their 4.5% clementine grisette Clémence, and the BG x Beerism barrel-aged imperial stout collab, Blendism. Cheers!
